Aquatic Warbler

This tour takes in some of the best birding areas in the country. We visit wetlands along the River Prypiat at Turau, the Bielaje fishponds, the Sporauski Reserve, and old mixed forests in the Pripiatsky National Park, the Vyhanašcanski Reserve, and finally at the legendary Bielaviezsškaja Pušca. The birding between these sites is great, too! Key birds we will search for include several decidedly ‘eastern’ specialties, such as Azure Tit, Aquatic Warbler, Citrine Wagtail Greater Spotted Eagle, Great Grey Owl and Terek Sandpiper. We will also visit a Great Snipe lek on one evening. We can expect over 150 species. We will be assisted throughout by knowledgeable local guides.
